Our primary mission is focused on ministry “outside of our own four walls”. St. Mark’s Cares supports
numerous projects locally and around the globe each year. Below are some of these partners.
 

Dougie and Ray’s is dedicated to serving students in need within the Fairfield City School District. They have four main focuses to achieve this mission; an annual Christmas drive, annual shoe drive, lunch account financial assistance, and helping with basic needs wherever possible. Website

 

The Broken Bus Ministry is an outreach ministry that feeds, clothes, and provides loving support and conversation for the homeless of greater Cincinnati. Website

 

It is the Mission of the Fairfield Food Pantry to Provide a Balanced and Nutritious Emergency Food Supply to Those with Special Needs in a Loving, Caring, and Supportive Manner.

Drawing churches together in unity to minister the love of Jesus Christ to people in need of food, clothing, furniture, and shelter, while helping them obtain a higher level of self-sufficiency and increased connection to God.  Website

The mission of the One Way Farm is to provide a home for at risk/displaced children that have been subjected to trauma. The City of Refuge/DBA One Way Farm will offer a homelike atmosphere by loving staff to provide healing with a Biblical foundation.

The mission of Matthew 25: Ministries is to fulfill Matthew 25:34-40 by providing nutritional food to the hungry, clean water to the thirsty, clothing to the naked, affordable shelter to the homeless, medical care to the ill, and humanitarian supplies to those in need. Additionally, Matthew 25: Ministries is committed to fulfilling Matthew 25:40 by educating the public on the conditions and needs of the “least of these” and by providing resources for action. UMCOR Vision and Mission
The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is the humanitarian relief and development arm of The United Methodist Church (UMC), a non-profit 501(c)3 organization operated under the auspices of the General Board of Global Ministries. Website

 

To make a positive impact on the lives of at- risk children, youth and families in Hamilton’s inner city by offering quality academic, community and spiritual enrichment programs designed to promote dignity and self worth, provide hope for the future and encourage each of God’s children to reach their greatest potential. The Fringe Coffee House exists to empower inmates, ex-felons and those on the fringes of society to live healthy, whole lives. We do this through our 8 week prison music therapy program dedicated towards getting to the root cause of incarceration and destructive behavior, building kinship and mentoring those incarcerated, and upon their release providing gainful employment and a holistic re-entry support plan all under one roof. The Caring Closet

The Caring Closet is dedicated to improving the lives of children in the Hamilton City School District by providing clothing and basic necessities to those in need.  We believe positive self esteem enhances the educational process and rely on the generosity of our community to achieve our goal.

The Wesley Foundation in Cincinnati is the United Methodist Campus Ministry at the University of Cincinnati and throughout the Greater Cincinnati Area. It is our mission to offer God’s radical love to every student in the greater Cincinnati, Ohio area and to form a community of disciples grounded in Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Blood Drives

During the 2020 COVID-19 shut down, Community Blood Center lost over 350 blood drives and approximately 10,000 units of blood which affects 30,000 lives. Blood donation is critical for saving lives. St. Mark’s hosted two blood successful blood drives in 2020, and plan to continue in 2021. Whether you have given blood or support our drive in other ways, we thank you!
